Excuse Me Can You Tell Me Where Paddy Dignam is Buried?
It's Bloomsday in the Hibernian Necropolis! And we’re going to catch a flavour of the folk who gather every June 16th in The Dead Centre of Dublin - Glasnevin Cemetery - the location for Episode 6 of Ulysses - Hades or Paddy Dignam's funeral. With language that some may find offensive, this is Excuse me, can you tell me where Paddy Dignam is buried?
In Excuse me, can you tell me where Paddy Dignam is buried? you heard the voices of Daniel Eglington Carey and Conor Dodd from The Dublin Cemeteries Trust and also Fritz Senn and Gerry O’Flaherty.
The reenactment of was performed by the JoyceStagers - Peter Prior, Louis O’Byrne, Paul Maher, Tim Casey, Ian Blackmore and Val O’Donnell.
The excerpts from the 1982 RTÉ Complete recording of James Joyce’s Ulysses were performed by The RTÉ Players and full details are on the Drama On One website.
