Mount Etna's 'Voragine' crater is back in spectacular, explosive action.
After a four-year silence, vigorous explosions and cascades of lava have been coming out from the top of the volcano, located on the east coast of Sicily in Italy.
At 3,330-metre high, Mount Etna is Europe's tallest active volcano.
It is believed to have the longest documented history of eruptions among all volcanoes, with records dating back to as early as 425 B.C.
It remains popular with tourists, who often go on guided tours to see its eruptions.
