If you want to do a real Moon walk, or even better a space walk, you need to get used to life with little or no gravity. That's why we put the Space Camp Challenge cadets to the test during their training at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Centre in Alabama.

Stream the full series on RTÉ Player now, and find out if 8 Irish teens have what it takes to be Ireland’s first astronaut.

The first challenge is the Gravity Chair, which gives the cadets a chance to experience what it's like to walk on the Moon, which has only one sixth of Earth’s gravity. Press play up top to get a sneek peak now...

And, there's another big challenge in store too. At the bottom of a 29 foot tank the cadets get to play basketball with bowling balls! Underwater Astronaut Training is used by NASA and ESA to provide the most realistic training environment for Space Walks.
