Louise is from Sligo town and studied Multimedia in Waterford IT where her interest in broadcasting developed through college radio.
At 21 she moved to Dublin to cut her teeth in national radio as an AA Roadwatch traffic reporter on RTE Radio 1 & 2FM.
Louise went on to become a radio presenter on 98FM, hosting a daily music show and weekly entertainment show which involved interviewing some of the biggest names in music and film including Dustin Hoffman, Russell Crowe, Cameron Diaz & Jennifer Anniston to name but a few. After a stint presenting on Today FM, Louise returned to RTE as a Sports Reporter on 2FM’s Breakfast with Hector and also became a Continuity Announcer and Weather Presenter.
Television wise Louise has worked as a reporter and contributor on ‘Today with Dáithi and Maura’ & ‘The Movie Show’. In addition to broadcasting, she is passionate about exercise & is a qualified fitness instructor specialising in helping women’s running groups and pre & post natal fitness. Louise runs with Dublin Bay Running Club and has completed 14 marathons.
