Helen Curran (the artist formerly known as Leonard!) hails from Sandycove in Co. Dublin. She went to Loreto Abbey Dalkey from the age of 4 right up to her Leaving Cert. She then went on to do a BA in Irish and Information Technology in UCD. While studying there, Helen worked in marketing and started working in RTÉ on various shows such as Don't Feed the Gondolas, The Den & Podge & Rodge. She became a Continuity Announcer in 1997 andstarted presenting the weather in June of 2003.
Helen is married to Steve and they have two children, Conor who is 12 and Ella who is 9. They also have a Golden Retriever called Coby. Helen is a massive Disney fan and a Liverpool supporter. She has a love of cooking and enjoys writing comedy.
