Croker pain no more as Armagh edge out Kerry | Armagh 1-18 Kerry 1-16 | All-Ireland SFC Highlights
Armagh are through to the All-Ireland final for the fifth time in their history after edging out Kerry by two points in a wildly engrossing semi-final in Croke Park. It was the third year in a row that an Armagh knockout game in HQ had gone to extra-time, except this one ended not in penalty heartbreak but with scenes of delirium at the final whistle. For Kieran McGeeney, who took over the county side at a relatively low ebb and has been 'failing better' for much of his long reign, it was the most cathartic of victories as he guided Armagh to their first decider since he was a player back in 2003.

SportGalway hold firm in tense finale | Galway 1-14 Donegal 0-15 | All-Ireland SFC Highlights
Galway finished strongly in a tense finale to overcome Donegal and book their spot in a second All-Ireland final in three years. With 10 minutes remaining, a tit-for-tat encounter hung on a knife-edge, the scoring-rate having fallen precipitously after an open first half. The hinge moment occurred with five minutes remaining. After a rousing Donegal turnover, Ciarán Thompson dived on the ball on the ground, referee Brendan Cawley penalising the midfielder. The big screen operator in Croke Park was momentarily asleep at the wheel, the tight call being broadcast around the stadium. The replay probably vindicated the decision but it was tight and the Donegal crowd struck up a round of boos, while Ryan McHugh and his teammates pointed agitatedly at the screen. Cawley responded by bringing the free in even closer. Finnerty tapped it over to nudge Galway in front at a crucial moment.

SportKerry progress from dour quarter-final | Kerry 0-15 Derry 0-10 | All-Ireland SFC Highlights
Kerry are into the All-Ireland semi-finals and Derry are out of their misery. That just about sums up the fallout from a woefully poor All-Ireland Football Championship quarter-final that will make for a quick post-mortem in the Kingdom ahead of a semi-final against Armagh in a fortnight, and a somewhat longer period of introspection in Derry. It took Kerry the bones of an hour to fully break free of the clutches of a Derry team that tried in vain to rescue an ailing Championship for them, but that finally came to a limp end for the league champions against the team that knocked them out last year too.
SportDonegal power past Louth | Donegal 1-23 Louth 0-18 | All-Ireland SFC Highlights
Donegal are through to their first All-Ireland SFC semi-final in a decade, a power-packed second-half performance at Croke Park propelling them beyond a game but eventually overwhelmed Louth. From Man of the Match Peadar Mogan - his All-Star credentials at this stage are undeniable - to leading scorer Oisin Gallen, to Michael Langan, Ryan McHugh and Caolan McColgan, the list of those who impressed in green and yellow was a lengthy one. In his first season back as Donegal manager, Jim McGuinness will pit his wits against Padraic Joyce on the weekend of 13/14 July, as Galway will be their opponents.
