Singer, poet and actress Imelda May is set to star in a new film set to premiere at this year's Galway Film Fleadh - she talks to RTÉ Arena above.
The People Before is based on the book of the same name by Charlotte Northedge. It's a pyschological thriller set in Suffolk in England; Jess and her husband Pete buy an old house in the countryside.
As they settle in, they find everything is not as it seems, the neighbours are unfriendly, the vegitation wants to invade the house - and there are a lot of bumps in the night.
Imelda plays an artist, Eve Drake, who seems to be a friendly presence in Jess's new life...
