Children welcomed 'Little Amal' - a 3.6m puppet that has become a global symbol of human rights - to Dublin.
'Amal' was created in the image of a ten-year-old Syrian refugee to draw attention to the huge number of children fleeing war, violence and persecution.
She travels the world as part of 'The Walk', a creative project with the message: "Don’t forget about us".
Since 'Amal' started walking in 2021, she has visited 16 countries, met two million people, and raised €900,000 for the Amal Fund with Choose Love, providing support for refugee and displaced children all over the world.
Presented by The Walk Productions in association with Handspring Puppet Company, 'The Walk' and 'Little Amal's' journey to Dublin is a Dublin City Council and Belfast City of Culture initiative.
