Cork-based contemporary Irish music ensemble Strung perform their arrangement of The Abbess, a song composed by British composer and musician Andy Cutting, three-times winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
This was their first live performance of the piece, recorded in Connolly's of Leap as part of the Seisiún series, presented by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Fridays, 8.30pm on RTÉ One and on the RTÉ Player.
