COGG (An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta) and Trend Micro present their Cyber Academy as Gaeilge. This valuable resource is now available in the Irish language to create an inclusive space for young Gaeilgeoirí looking to educate themselves on online safety.
This academy is aimed at Primary School children aged 7-11 years and is covers 11 all-important topics, from passwords and camera safety to kindness, misinformation and time online.
Each episode consists of:
- A three-minute animated video
- A conversation guide/ Q&A for kids
- A Kahoot! Quiz to reinforce learning in an exciting way
- A fun downloadable activity sheet featuring elements such as crosswords, coloring and wordsearches

Since launching in October of 2021, Trend Micro's Cyber Academy, which forms part of their ISKF Internet Safety for Kids & Families (ISKF) program, has become a vital resource both in and outside of the classroom, providing teachers and parents with a powerful tool to improve children’s safety and awareness online.
Offering both video-based lessons and learning materials designed to engage and improve children’s digital literacy skills, each short episode can be delivered on-demand by a teacher in the classroom or a guardian at home.
